1. Three Core Courses
- OQ511 Knowledge Modules 1 to 3: Gain a solid foundation in planning and scheduling routine preventive maintenance activities. (52 credits)
- QC512 Practical Modules 1 to 8: Learn to use industry-leading software solutions for Asset Management, tracking maintenance activities and generating performance reports. (84 credits)
- OQ513 Work Experience Modules 1 to 8: Develop skills on the job. (125 credits)
All three courses include industry-based case studies and assignments that require you to apply your new skills directly in your organisation. 2. Work Experience Modules & Final Exam
Alongside the coursework, you will complete work experience modules that give you hands-on training in a real industrial environment. These modules ensure that by the time you’ve finished the qualification, you are fully capable of performing the tasks required of a Maintenance Planner. In many cases, these modules can also help learners secure opportunities within their companies or other organisations looking for in-house expertise.
Upon completion of the work experience modules, you will be eligible to write the final integrated exam administered by the QCTO. Successful candidates will have their names entered into the QCTO’s national database as qualified Maintenance Planners.
Professional Recognition
